Watch the Birdie

Hello, I'm back with more strange birds to fill the idle hours. I'm working on lots of new drawings as we speak, this one was just a doodling experiment, for some easter cards.

I will also be venturing into tee-shirt world with some new kid friendly designs.

A few weeks ago while I was encouraging my son (4) to get dressed - he was attempting to send me insane by doing the opposite of everything I asked.
Hours later I was a wreck and agreed to make him a tee shirt with Wall-E on it, in gratitude to him  for just leaving me alone.

So here is how I did it!

Step 1: draw your design on your computer, or scan in a photo or picture.

Step 2: print out your picture onto Heat Transfer Paper ( available on-line ). I drew a big fat black outline all around my image to blend in with the black tee-shirt.

Step 3: Cut the little fella out.

Step 4: Pop the image on your tee-shirt with a sheet of tracing paper on top, iron for 20 seconds or so at full heat.   Your finished tee shirt is machine washable at 40 degrees. Do not directly iron on the image.

Step 5: WAY HEY!! One lovely tee shirt and one very happy kid.

please do take a look at my last post if you want to be in with a chance to win some original artwork.

  2. Am I going bonkers? Sure I left a comment on here a bit earlier. Love those eggywoos. Your T-shirt, is ACE-IO. That's 2 up from simply ace. Laurie wants one, Edith wants one, the chickens want one. Dudley wants one with a bone on it. (And I love the way you give us instructions as if anyone could do it. HAHAHAHAHAH!) Invent a range of T-shirts now and I will place a bulk order. Though make some of them long sleeved, as it is 'brass monkeys' as they say (who?) here. Super doo, CD! xxx
